anguage projects provide an educational experience for a class or group of students to visit England, stay with an English family, and produce a project under the supervision of qualified language tutors. The experience of studying a chosen subject, making comparisons between their own country and Great Britain, resulting in a visually and intellectually stimulating project, gives pupils a huge boost in confidence.
uring the project, students study and research both in small groups and individually, always expressing opinions in English. Tutors develop discussions to encourage confident use of the language and acquisition of new vocabulary. One of the most popular parts of the course is the production of a questionaire, which students put to the public in pairs.
isits to London and other parts of the country are informative and stimulating, with class guidance before each trip to make maximum use of journeys, while giving students touristic and shopping opportunities.
ll host families encourage students to join the family, and most successful projects have been from students who truly involve themselves in all things English.
